About The Position

The Summer 2025 Intern for the Office of Ethical and Humane Use Policy at Salesforce will play a crucial role in implementing and operationalizing ethical use policies across various products and technologies. This internship involves managing a dedicated project while supporting day-to-day policy enforcement operations, including responding to inquiries, conducting policy research, and investigating reports of policy violations.

Requirements

• Enrolled and working towards obtaining an undergraduate degree (BS/BA) in Sociology, Philosophy, Ethics, Public Policy, Political Science, International Affairs, Business, Communications or a related field.
• Must be attending a college or university in North America.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Passion for ethics and policy work.

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in languages in addition to English and regional expertise is a plus.
• Experience conducting open source research.
• Familiarity with tech ethics and policy considerations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives, ensuring ethical considerations are integrated.
• Contribute to research and investigations of incoming policy violation reports.
• Collaborate on and support the development of product use policies.
• Help drive effective and efficient ethical use policy implementation that scales across multiple products.
