About The Position

The Graphic Design Intern position at PACCAR offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in graphic design while supporting the Industrial Design and Product Planning teams. Requirements

  • Pursuing or graduating with a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Art Direction, Industrial Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other graphic design tools.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity, particularly in branding and product-related projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in collaborative settings.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-disciplinary team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in graphic and industrial design.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize visual brand assets to inspire marketing initiatives and drive brand guidelines.
  • Create consistent visual identity across brand touchpoints for Kenworth.
  • Design graphics for product promotional materials, social media content, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the Industrial Design team to translate product concepts into visual communications.
  • Assist in creating branded assets for vehicles, including badges and trailer visuals.
  • Develop engaging visuals for internal communications to foster team collaboration.
  • Research design trends to contribute fresh ideas to the visual identity.
  • Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to refine design concepts.
  • Manage multiple design projects to ensure alignment with branding goals.
