The Role: Our M&A Accounting & Finance team supports all accounting and financial activities at Fanatics relating to acquisitions, new business ventures, and other complex transactions. We are looking for an intern that can support the controlling & broader finance functions on technical accounting, financial reporting, policies, due diligence, valuation, and finance integration. In our fast-paced environment, you'll have an opportunity to work on a variety of assignments, with varying challenges and scope. You'll work as part of a team of skilled professionals, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Requirements

• Pursuing or completed a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
• Preferred Cumulative GPA: 3.3
• Preferred Major GPA: 3.3
• General understanding and application knowledge of accounting rules under US GAAP
• Prior work experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, or deal work is preferred
• Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage, prioritize, and effectively meet deadlines
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth and often ambiguous environments

Responsibilities

• Supporting teams in technical accounting, financial reporting, accounting policies, valuation, and financial diligence & integration projects
• Observing and learning from experienced professionals
• Completing project tasks and participating in discussions
• Conducting basic technical research and financial analysis
• Preparing written or financial analysis that communicates findings and recommendations
• Applying a learning mindset, by proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback on assigned projects
• Appreciating diverse perspectives and team feedback
• Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities

Benefits
