About The Position
Roc Nation is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and enthusiastic individual, who is interested in learning more about the live entertainment and music industries. This internship will allow students to gain first-hand experience in a variety of areas, including but not limited to; A&R, studio recording and release planning. Interns will assist our team in extensive Artist and song research and identifying opportunities through a variety of means, e.g., shows, radio play, blogs, charts, demos, word-of-mouth, etc. They will coordinate detailed weekly A&R research reports and other scouting projects, monitor and report on various charts domestically and internationally, and complete various tasks for the Artist Relations Team to include tracking growth of prospective artists, transcribing and reviewing lyrics, and reviewing clean audio. Additionally, interns will assist with all other day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure artist projects are complete and submitted on time.
