About The Position

The Shamrock Students Professional Internship Program is an 11-week internship designed to provide hands-on training and real project experience within the Shamrock Foods Company. Interns will work closely with the cybersecurity team, contributing to various tasks while also engaging in collaborative projects with fellow interns.

Requirements

• 1+ year(s) educational experience and currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university with a focus on Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Security, or related field
• Maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Must live in or near Phoenix, Arizona
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Demonstrates expertise in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Ability to learn and act in a fast-paced environment
• Effective task management
• High level of motivation and adaptability
• Great attitude and desire to learn and grow

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the cybersecurity team in an accurate and timely manner
• Promote security awareness among interns
• Respond to tickets and other routine requests
• Leverage security tools to monitor alerts and perform analysis
• Document standing operating procedures
• Participate in incident investigations
• Other duties as assigned
