The Kroger Fall Internship Program is a 15-week immersive experience that offers students an opportunity to grow their careers through a variety of focused internship assignments. The Summer rotation dates are from August 19 to December 6. As a People Analytics Intern, you will play a pivotal role in driving HR analytics and reporting initiatives across all lines of business and corporate functions in the General Office. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development of automated predictive analytics and systematic reporting processes, providing actionable insights to company leaders. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and HR business partners, ensuring alignment with company priorities and facilitating data-driven decision-making. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in workforce analytics while contributing to the company's strategic objectives. In this role, you will assist in gathering and organizing data from various sources, including HR systems, surveys, and performance evaluations. You will clean and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Conducting statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to employee performance, turnover, and engagement will be key tasks. You will collaborate with HR business partners to develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for evaluating workforce effectiveness. Additionally, you will support the design and implementation of surveys and assessments to measure employee satisfaction, engagement, and organizational culture. Preparing visualizations, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders will also be part of your responsibilities. You will assist in conducting ad-hoc analysis and research projects as needed to support strategic HR initiatives and stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in people analytics and HR technology.
