About The Position

The Summer 2025 Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) clinical rotation at CVS Health's MinuteClinic locations provides an opportunity for FNP students to gain hands-on experience in ambulatory care settings. This program is designed to meet academic standards while offering a comprehensive learning experience that includes specialized training, patient interaction, and exposure to clinic operations. Students will work under the guidance of experienced preceptors who are dedicated to teaching and sharing their expertise in clinical and operational skills.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a Family Nurse Practitioner program with an executed Affiliation Agreement with MinuteClinic.
• Must possess a valid RN license in the state of precepting.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Complete a minimum of 50 hours and a maximum of 240 hours in clinical rotation.
• Engage in patient interactions and apply clinical skills in an ambulatory care setting.
• Participate in specialized online training provided by MinuteClinic.
• Gain exposure to electronic medical records (EMR) and clinic operations.
• Understand the integration of MinuteClinic within the broader healthcare delivery system.
