About The Position

NRDC is a non-profit environmental advocacy organization that uses law, science, and the support of 3.1 million members and online activists to protect the planet's wildlife and wild places and to ensure the rights of all people to clean air, clean water, and healthy communities. Founded in 1970, NRDC has played a significant role in writing some of America's foundational environmental laws, including the Clean Water Act. The organization employs over 700 professionals, including lawyers, scientists, economists, and policy advocates, working from various offices across the globe. The internship will provide exposure to designing climate and clean energy policies, creating memos, reports, graphics, and blogs based on research and data analysis, and advocating for solutions that benefit all communities.
