About The Position
SpaceX is seeking extraordinary students for engineering internships in Summer 2025. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced mentors and other employees, applying your academic knowledge to real-world projects that have a significant impact on the company's mission to enable human life on Mars. This internship is designed to help you grow your skills and gain valuable experience in a collaborative environment. You will also have the chance to participate in optional social and professional events, allowing you to network with other interns and employees. Internships are available across various engineering teams, including design, manufacturing, and operations, at multiple locations such as Bastrop, TX; Brownsville, TX; Cape Canaveral, FL; Hawthorne (Los Angeles), CA; Irvine, CA; McGregor (Waco), TX; Redmond, WA; and Vandenberg, CA. The internship requires a commitment to work full-time, onsite for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks, starting in May or June 2025. You will be expected to provide your own transportation for certain locations. The internship program offers competitive compensation based on academic level, with additional benefits such as a stipend for relocation costs, access to comprehensive medical coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan. Interns will also have opportunities to attend presentations from company leaders, participate in social and networking events, and engage in professional and personal development trainings. Additionally, interns are eligible for paid company holidays, with 10 or more paid holidays offered per year.
