At Constellation, we are currently seeking highly motivated engineering students for Engineering Internships for 2025. These internships are designed to provide students with real-world, hands-on experience in the engineering field, specifically within our Nuclear locations in Illinois. The internships will last approximately 10 weeks, starting from June 3rd through August 8th, 2025, and interns are expected to work in person for a minimum of three days per week. Each intern will be assigned a supervisor and a technical mentor to guide them through their projects, which are tailored to enhance their learning and professional development. Intern projects have historically included a variety of engineering challenges, such as Cooling Tower Drone Inspections, Nuclear Core Analysis, Control Circuit Wiring Design for Feedwater Pump, Thermal Overload Calculation for Motor Operated Valves, Seismic Monitoring Instrumentation Upgrade, Weld Overlays Calculations on Feedwater Heater, and Hydrogen Electrolyzer Project. These projects not only provide practical experience but also contribute to the ongoing efforts of Constellation in advancing clean energy solutions. Interns will have the opportunity to work at several locations, including the Braidwood Nuclear Power Plant, Byron Nuclear Power Plant, Clinton Nuclear Power Plant, Dresden Nuclear Power Plant, LaSalle Nuclear Power Plant, Quad Cities Nuclear Power Plant, and the Cantera Corporate Office. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students to apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting and to gain insights into the energy industry, particularly in the context of nuclear power and sustainability.
