About The Position

The Cybersecurity Intern position at TSMC Arizona offers an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity within a leading global semiconductor company. Interns will work in the Proprietary Information Protection (PIP) Department, focusing on safeguarding critical information assets and ensuring compliance with security policies. Requirements

• Currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) on-site at the Phoenix location during the specified internship period.
• Understanding of fundamental cybersecurity concepts and familiarity with common cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Understanding of network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and antivirus systems.
• Ability to conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and compliance checks, including vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
• Programming skills in languages such as C++ and Java are a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
• Strong communication, computer, presentation, and teamwork skills.
