About The Position
Every year, The Seattle Times offers a series of paid summer internships to outstanding students eager to build a career in journalism. For 10 weeks, our interns have the privilege to work closely with members of our Pulitzer Prize-winning staff on a variety of real-world assignments as employees of our established, renowned metropolitan newspaper and website. Next summer, you could be paid to train in your chosen profession at the Northwest's leading daily news media organization. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment, where you will be involved in various aspects of journalism, including copy editing, headline writing, and digital content production. Interns will collaborate with experienced journalists and editors, contributing to the high-quality content that serves our readers while upholding the standards of accuracy, ethics, fairness, taste, and inclusivity that The Seattle Times is known for.
