The Business Development and Licensing (BD&L) / Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Internship is an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere in Alcon's BD&L / M&A group by working with the award-winning team to evaluate new business opportunities for the company. You will spend your internship building basic skills in financial and strategic analysis, accounting, and valuation, while working on a wide range of domestic and international transactions. Our team is looking for a talented and motivated intern to join us onsite for 10-12 weeks in Summer 2025 at the Fort Worth, TX location. Alcon interns will have the opportunity gain industry experience and network with other Alcon professionals and have the chance to make a real-world impact by working on meaningful projects that will help patients and customers see brilliantly. Alcon also offers interns personal and professional development, high visibility and coaching and mentoring opportunities.

  • Gathering and synthesizing company and industry financial and operating information.
  • Creating and updating financial models.
  • Gathering market data to analyze trends and help value transactions.
  • Drafting presentations and memoranda for organization leadership.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship or co-op, and at least one additional semester following internship or co-op.
  • Must be pursuing at least a bachelor's level degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Math, Statistics, Management, Business Law or related major.
  • Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects).
  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated).
  • Ability to commit to a full time (40 hrs. per week).
  • Professional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Collaborative.
  • Adaptable.
