About The Position
We are slowly moving towards an era where we will need to use AI to update several different aspects of our biochemistry database in order for it to work better for our projects, given our limited resources. Some areas of the biochemistry include the Gibbs free energy of formation fo compounds, compound structure, reaction direction, reaction abstraction, and model construction. As a summer intern, we would review which areas of biochemistry they would most be interested in, and apply your background in computer science to identify issues and formulating ML approaches to improve the database. The work will be distributed with the database.
Requirements
- The entirety of the appointment must be conducted within the United States.
- Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
- Applicants must be: ‒Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution ‒Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months; or ‒Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution
