About The Position
The American Airlines Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in downtown Dallas, Texas. The arena serves as the home of the Dallas Stars of the NHL and Dallas Mavericks of the NBA. From the stadium to the head table, Levy leverages unbridled creativity, custom strategies, impeccable service, and true love for great food to create unforgettable experiences. Founded in Chicago 40 years ago as a Delicatessen, Levy now finds itself as a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry across 200 plus Entertainment, Sports, and Restaurant venues across the country. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-service-oriented Food and Beverage Runner to join our Premium Suites team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering food to suites, restaurants, and dining room patrons in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or GED.
- Minimum (1) year of Food and Beverage, Hotel/ Hospitality, Club or Full-Service Restaurant experience.
- Valid TABC or state approved Alcohol/Liquor certification.
- Valid ServSafe or state approved Food Handler's certification.
- Excellent customer service, organization, and time management.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to remain focused in a loud and busy environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist suitemates with large orders, restocking, and other assigned duties.
- Communicating effectively with suitemates, bartenders, servers, kitchen staff, and supervisors to ensure compliance by maintaining company standards.
- Complete closing duties such as storing, breaking down, and cleaning equipment. Provide feedback to supervisors.
- Cleanliness by keeping work areas and equipment clean, including following principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
- Communicating with guests, including responding to customer requests and complaints to ensure Service Excellence.
- Performs other assigned duties.
