About The Position

Who are we hiring? During events, the Suite Runner provides food & beverage service as well as overall hospitality to guests in Suites. This individual also assists with general set-up including pre-event, during and post event operations while exhibiting a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor to build relationships that will enhance the guest experience. What will you do? Delivers food and beverages to and from the suites and kitchen; receives assignments and follows delivery procedures accordingly. Assists suite attendants with any issues and notifies chefs and managers of any discrepancies. Delivery of dry, cold, and hot food items to appropriate suites and at the appropriate times. Breaks down assigned pantry while ensuring proper cleanliness and organization. Assists attendants with any closing procedures as needed. What do you need to succeed? The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-end restaurant, hotel, suite, or catering environment. Knowledge of Southern Nevada Health Food regulations; adheres to TEAM training guidelines. Will have knowledge of Nevada Board of Health food handling guidelines and possesses the proper food handling certifications. Must have the ability to execute multiple tasks in a high-pressured environment; can follow instructions as well as standard rules, regulations, checklists, and procedures. Must have superior customer service, organization, and communication skills. Special Requirements Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.  Runners may also be assigned to work in Catering. General physical requirements such as occasional kneeling. Pushing, Pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs., standing for long periods, walking long distances, bending and constant motion is often required. Occasional kneeling also required. May be exposed to theatrical smoke, strobe lights, pyrotechnics, intense sound, rapid motion video effects, smoke, and odors Must be at least 21 years of age. Requirements
