About The Position

The SA Suggested Ordering Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the PDI SA Suggested Ordering tool and store orders by ensuring the correct POGs and SKUs are actively assigned to each store in the tool. This role involves creating and maintaining surveys for the collection of Site POG Attributes, as well as creating import spreadsheets to load updated POG/Store Layouts when changes occur. The manager will learn and train the usage of the PDI Focal Point reporting system to support the Operations and Marketing departments. Additionally, the position requires analyzing site-specific information pertaining to the accuracy of the sets assigned and training the Operations and Marketing team on how to use the SA Suggested Order tool for ordering, scan audits, and sales forecast event adjustments. The manager will also investigate site Day on Hand issues and make recommendations for improvements to ensure the correct quantity of product is in stock at the right time. Other responsibilities include maintaining delivery schedules, scan audit calendars, and providing support for optimizing the scan audit process. The manager will coordinate the implementation of new items and the removal of discontinued items from the system, as well as maintain POG changes and research Price Book issues. The role requires collaboration with various levels of the company to maximize the efficiency of the automated ordering system and support compliance for accurate hand inventory amounts. The manager will also create and maintain Sales Forecast Events and work with senior management to enhance the Suggested Ordering Tool and reporting processes. Continuous improvement of processes and performance related to the PDI SA Suggested Ordering Tool is a key focus of this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Five to seven years of experience, including three years of management responsibility.
  • Ability to travel locally as needed.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Working knowledge of PDI Enterprise software including Focal Point.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • General supply chain knowledge and understanding.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Positive team attitude and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy of the PDI SA Suggested Ordering tool and store orders.
  • Create and maintain surveys for Site POG Attributes.
  • Create import spreadsheets for updated POG/Store Layouts.
  • Train Operations and Marketing teams on the SA Suggested Order tool.
  • Analyze site-specific information for accuracy of assigned sets.
  • Investigate Day on Hand issues and recommend changes.
  • Maintain delivery schedules for Wholesaler and DSD suppliers.
  • Maintain scan audit calendar and report on compliance.
  • Support optimization of scan audit processes.
  • Maintain PDI Alerts & Notifications settings.
  • Support Operations and Marketing for non-PDI systems.
  • Coordinate implementation of new and discontinued items.
  • Maintain POG changes and research Price Book issues.
  • Collaborate with Site Managers, District Managers, and RDOs.
  • Create and maintain Sales Forecast Events.
  • Work with senior management to enhance Suggested Ordering Tool.
  • Look for opportunities to improve processes and performance.
  • Support Wholesaler Return events and ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.
