About the position
Sugarloaf is currently seeking team players to join our Course Maintenance crew at our unparalleled Golf Club location. Course Maintenance Workers operate as a team to care for and improve the greens, tees, fairways, and roughs throughout the course. Course Workers will also maintain and repair the bunkers, tree lines, stream edges, and other course features to ensure playability. Our crew will work in various weather conditions and typically start each day in the early morning hours. We are currently seeking both full-time and part-time team members for this seasonal role; both are eligible for an end of season bonus and come with great job perks. Responsibilities
- Mow and trim all course features and natural areas
- Edge, trim, weed, maintain, and rake bunkers
- Move or set golf holes, tee markers, and flags as directed
- Plant trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Pull weeds and clean beds
- Trim and prune trees, hedges, brush, and shrubbery
- Remove debris, snow, or ice from bridges and grounds as necessary
- Maintain equipment and observe safety procedures
- Cut, roll, lay, and water sod
- Sand and seed tees and divots
- Assist in project work as needed and directed
Requirements
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to arrive to work on-time and perform at a professional level
- Must be able to exert a considerable amount of physical effort to complete tasks
- Must be willing to operate in inclement and varying weather conditions
- Experience in related work is preferred but not required
