About The Position
AECOM is actively seeking a SUE Field Supervisor to be responsible for managing day to day operations of multiple SUE field crews. AECOM offers a comprehensive suite of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), private utility locating, and related services to our diverse customer base comprised of Engineering, Environmental, Utility, Surveying, Construction, and Infrastructure. This is a hybrid position consisting of expected time spent split 75% field, 25% office. The supervisor will ensure field teams adhere to AECOM's strict guidelines for safety and quality, manage the creation and maintenance of field crew schedules across numerous projects, and ensure adherence to field schedules to complete projects within communicated timelines and budgets. The role involves reading and interpreting utility drawings, initiating and processing utility records requests, utilizing advanced geophysical equipment, performing field audits, and troubleshooting technical problems in the field. The supervisor will also communicate effectively with field and office staff and act as an advisor/mentor to junior field staff.
