Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of in-office CAD experience
- Work in a fast-paced environment and overtime as needed to complete project schedules.
- Work in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in MicroStation (SS10 and ORD)
- Must be able to read and understand Roadway Plans, Construction Plans, Utility as-built’ s & Utility record drawings
- Basic knowledge of utility types
- Developing field calculations, plotting maps, and processing field survey data
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) experience
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
- We are unable to sponsor or take over the sponsorship of employment visas
Nice To Haves
- Experience with modeling in 3D is a plus
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D is a plus
- Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) experience strongly desired; work with other DOT agencies is a plus
Responsibilities
- Process utility field data
- Create and/or update utility drawings utilizing processed field data
- Prepare digital test hole reports and inventory sheets
- Calculate field coordinates based on proposed design documents
- Perform QC of preliminary deliverables
- Ability to work with survey files/data collected in field
- Support project SUE team including records research
- Prepare field packages for SUE field crews
