About The Position
The Success Program Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting at-risk students within the Davison Community Schools. This position is designed to provide comprehensive support to students and their families, ensuring that they have access to the necessary resources and guidance to succeed academically and socially. The coordinator will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and various community agencies to create a supportive environment that fosters student success. The role requires a deep understanding of the challenges faced by at-risk students and the ability to navigate the complexities of educational and community resources available to them. In this position, the coordinator will establish and facilitate team meetings for at-risk students, monitor their progress, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in the students' education. This includes regular meetings with students to assess their needs and provide guidance, as well as maintaining communication with parents and school personnel regarding student progress. The coordinator will also utilize a data tracking system to monitor behavior and attendance, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly. Home visits may be necessary to engage families and provide additional support. The Success Program Coordinator will also oversee student lunch periods, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during this time. The role requires a commitment to maintaining regular attendance and punctuality, as well as the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school environment.
