Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3 years of Academic Advising, Career coaching or related experience
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in College Student Personnel (CSP), Education or related field

Responsibilities

• Hold one-on-one academic advising and career coaching appointments with students.
• Coach students in appropriate academic and career pathways, providing support towards post-graduate success.
• Deliver comprehensive advising and coaching support to an assigned group of students through degree completion.
• Apply student development philosophy to provide academic advising and career coaching to diverse students.
• Review student progress and track students using graduation plans and academic support services.
• Develop student graduation plans and provide semesterly touch points for students.
• Leverage alumni and other relationships to optimize career opportunities for students.
• Collaborate with the 'Student Success Hub' and various support offices to provide resources for students.
• Participate in the development of retention strategies to assist students in achieving their goals.
• Assist in organizing signature events and programs for students, faculty, and staff.
