About The Position

As a Sandwich Artist® at Subway, you will be the face of a global brand, responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing delicious sandwiches quickly and efficiently. Your role is crucial in ensuring that customers have a positive experience, which encourages them to return.

Requirements

• Some high school education or equivalent is required.
• No previous experience required; ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions is necessary.
• Must be able to work in any area of the restaurant when needed and operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.
• Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday.
• Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests with a cheerful and helpful manner.
• Prepare food neatly and in a timely manner according to formula.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards during food preparation and service.
• Handle cash transactions using the Point of Sale system and compute bills accurately.
• Restock items in the sandwich unit area to ensure sufficient supply throughout the shift.
• Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
• Adhere to quality standards, formulas, and procedures as outlined in the SUBWAY® Operations Manual.
• Complete light paperwork duties as assigned.
• Complete University of SUBWAY® courses as directed.
