Global Partners, through its subsidiary Subway, is seeking a Food Service Manager (FSM) to oversee all aspects of the food service and beverage operation at their franchise store in Quechee, Vermont. The FSM will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of all fresh food and food service programs in compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines. This role supports the Store Manager in all facets of running the store, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all guests, and responding to guest complaints or inquiries. The FSM will solicit feedback and create plans to consistently meet guest expectations while managing the food service programs 24/7, including proper ordering, production planning, product handling, and display. In addition to operational responsibilities, the FSM will be tasked with the selection, development, and training of all associates in the department. They will analyze food service results and trends, prepare action plans to leverage the store's fresh food strengths, and address areas of opportunity to ensure food service profitability. The FSM will also be responsible for executing food service efficiencies, ensuring planograms are utilized, overseeing inventory and ordering of products and supplies, and maintaining food service equipment and facilities. Furthermore, the FSM will execute the corporate training plan for store staff and conduct hands-on training to ensure associate proficiency, while also recognizing and rewarding associates for their contributions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, exceptional guest service skills, and the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. They should be detail-oriented, possess superior organizational skills, and apply critical thinking skills in all situations. The FSM will be a proven self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and make informed decisions.
