Requirements

High School Diploma / GED
Ability to supervise and train others to include SUE Tech I, II and III roles when required/as needed.
2+ years experience as a SUE Field Technician II
Ability to read and interpret utility company prints and design plans
Must have a good oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Ability to secure client-required identity verification, such as TWIC and SWAC
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical (U.S. only)
Ability to obtain a DOT medical card for CMV operation (U.S. only)
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical movements necessary to operate heavy tools and equipment
Ability to work outdoors in all climates
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, by company vehicle or commercial airline, up to 2 week continuous stay.

Nice To Haves

OSHA Safety certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

Mastery in the operation of SUE utility locating and designating equipment in complex utility infrastructure environments to accurately map all utilities within the project area
Complete detailed accurate daily reports, forms and field sketches, both electronically as well as draft by hand
Supervise daily SUE field crew activities and train other crew members
Assist and coordinator with project managers in preliminary work to prepare crews for field assignment.
Represent and communicate on behalf of T2ue with client, sub-contractors, and third parties during field activities
Effective maintenance, cleaning, and operation of vehicles, equipment, tools and supplies
Facilitate Daily Tailgate Safety Meetings
Perform Daily Job Hazard Analysis with crew members
Drive commercial motor vehicles, however a CDL license is not required
Direct safety set-up for proper maintenance of traffic signage
Supervisor and direct safety set-up for proper maintenance of traffic signage
Complete monthly equipment inventory for Supervisor reorder
