Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering required
- Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required; previous project or team management experience preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (GasWorks, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in respective discipline and strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups
- Strategic thinker with the ability to guide and motivate team activity and resolve issues with urgency
- Experience with project budgeting preferred; basic understanding of accounting processes
- Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
Responsibilities
- Organize, direct, and coordinate activities related to gas engineering projects, from initial assessment through planning and design
- Collaborate with team leadership to manage and motivate a high-performing group of technical professionals, ensuring excellence in project delivery and achieving team utilization goals
- Effectively manage project budgets, scope, and schedules to deliver successful outcomes for critical utility initiatives
- Engage with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded throughout each phase
