About The Position

The Gregory-Portland Independent School District is seeking applicants for various positions within the district. Requirements

  • Eligibility to obtain employment in the United States.
  • Authorization for the district to obtain criminal history record information.
  • Willingness to submit to fingerprinting procedures as required by Texas law.
  • Possession of the appropriate degree(s), license(s), and/or certification(s) as required in the job description.
  • Certification that the applicant has not been charged with or convicted of having an inappropriate relationship with a minor.

  • Previous substitute teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain substitutes for the campus as needed.
  • Ensure that substitutes are paid on the basis of one-half and whole days only.
  • Participate in the direct deposit service for payroll.
  • Keep Human Resources informed of any changes in address, phone number, or availability.
