About The Position

Isidore Newman School seeks substitute teachers for the 2022-23 school year. Qualified applicants will have experience in education at the early childhood, elementary, middle, and/or high school levels. This role will be on an as-needed basis and will entail teaching students at a wide range of grade levels and in a variety of disciplines, based on the lesson plans and guidance provided by the primary classroom teacher.

• Demonstrated skill with classroom management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Teach students at various grade levels based on lesson plans provided by the primary teacher.
• Assist with snack and mealtimes as needed.
• Support carpool duties when required.
• Maintain appropriate boundaries while forging relationships with students.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues effectively.
