Substitute Teachers & Paraprofessionals
About The Position
Mount Greylock Regional School District is seeking substitute teachers and paraprofessionals for the remainder of the 2025–2026 academic year. Substitute staff are essential in ensuring the continuity of instruction and student support in the absence of the regular teacher or paraprofessional. Assignments and durations will vary and are offered on an as-needed basis. At this time, the District is welcoming applications from candidates who are interested in filling at at any or all of our schools: Lanesborough Elementary School (Grades PreK–6), Williamstown Elementary School (Grades PreK–6), and Mount Greylock Regional School (Grades 7-12).
Requirements
- Associate degree preferred; a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different grade levels and classroom settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Follow lesson plans and daily routines as provided by the teacher of record.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support student learning and engagement in alignment with school and district expectations.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned, such as recess/lunch supervision, arrival/dismissal assistance, or one-to-one student support.
