About The Position

Custer School District is seeking Substitute Teachers for all schools. The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled. Candidates must complete the CSD substitute application packet, submit proof of their highest level of education, and complete a criminal background check prior to starting. Interested applicants should contact the CSD Admin. Office for the application packet, which will include the fingerprint/background check materials. The minimum requirement for this position is a high school graduate.

Requirements

• Must be a high school graduate.
• Completion of the CSD substitute application packet.
• Submission of proof of highest level of education.
• Completion of a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support to students in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Follow lesson plans and ensure that students are engaged in learning activities.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Complete any necessary administrative tasks related to the substitute teaching role.

Benefits

• Pay range of $110/day to $135/day.
