The Substitute Teacher position is responsible for directing the learning process in accordance with the curriculum objectives and goals as outlined in the lesson plans assigned. This role involves utilizing appropriate instructional procedures and materials to achieve lesson goals, taking attendance, maintaining an orderly classroom environment, and managing classroom routines. Substitute teachers are also expected to oversee students outside the classroom, adhere to school policies, and communicate effectively with parents and school personnel. Additionally, they must compile reports for the regular teacher upon their return and follow all hiring guidelines and requirements set by Kelly Education Services.
