About The Position

The Readington Township Public School District is seeking Substitute Teachers, Substitute Aides, Substitute Nurses, Substitute Custodians, and Substitute Secretaries for the 2023-2024 school year. The positions are available district-wide and are intended to provide immediate support as needed.

Requirements

• Substitute Teachers must hold a New Jersey Teaching Certificate or have at least 60 college credits qualifying for a Substitute Certificate.
• Substitute Nurses must hold or obtain a New Jersey Nurse Certificate or School Nurse Substitute Certificate.
• Substitute Instructional Aides and Substitute Secretaries must hold a High School Diploma.
• Experience is a plus for Substitute Custodians.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support to students in the absence of regular staff.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.
• Follow lesson plans and adapt as necessary to meet the needs of students.
• Perform duties as assigned by the school administration.
