About The Position

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing instruction to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The Substitute Teacher will be expected to follow lesson plans, manage the classroom, and ensure that students are engaged and learning.

Requirements

• Valid WA State Teaching Certificate
• Clear Background Check
• Ability to work on-call with short notice

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher
• Manage the classroom, ensuring that students are engaged in learning
• Provide instruction in a variety of subjects and grade levels
• Maintain a positive and safe learning environment for all students
• Communicate with school administration and regular classroom teacher regarding any issues or concerns
• Complete required paperwork and documentation as necessary
