Substitute Teacher

About the position

Hilldale School is a learning community where children are nurtured and cherished. Academic excellence, civility, and good character are hallmarks of Hilldale graduates. We are seeking substitute teachers interested in helping us throughout the new school year. The position will be on-call, begin in September, and continue through June 13th, but could also lead to a long-term substitute position or even a full-time teaching position.

Responsibilities

• Teach a curriculum that is one year ahead while nurturing the social-emotional needs at age level.
• Inspire, challenge, and engage students academically and emotionally.

Requirements

• Current teaching certificate preferred.
• Positive school experience.
• Organized and creative.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and imaginative.

Benefits

• Pay: $220 to 240 per day
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• On call
• Work Location: In person
