About The Position

Purpose: Provide temporary instructional coverage in the absence of regular classroom teachers, ensuring continuity in the delivery of the curriculum. The substitute teacher is responsible for maintaining classroom order, executing lesson plans, and providing a safe, supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- 60 credit hours required
- Must meet the minimum requirements as defined by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) for substitute teachers.
- This includes at least 60 credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university or a valid Michigan teaching
