Collaborate with the Early Childhood Service Coordinator, Head Teacher, Family Advocate, and families, to plan and implement the Head Start educational program for preschool children to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. Carry forth the Vision, Mission, and Core Values of the agency. Assist with daily operations in the center classroom, including bus monitoring and parent engagement activities. Ensure the safety of all children by being engaged and actively supervising the children at all times of the day. Assist with the preparation of classroom materials, the daily routine, small and large group times, outdoor time, and mealtime activities. Work a flexible schedule. Work with the entire team to ensure a safe, healthy, sanitary, organized, stimulating, fun learning environment. Assist with any paperwork that may need completed as appropriate regarding the children including data entry. As appropriate, generate and correctly record non-federal share hours of families and volunteers. Communicate all necessary information to all staff. Completion and reconciliation of CACFP Point of Service Meal Counts submitted on a monthly basis or weekly basis if serving infants as appropriate. All positions require a background check, drug test, and physical.
