About The Position

BASIS Independent Brooklyn Upper is seeking qualified candidates for a Temporary, On-Campus Substitute Teacher for immediate hire.   What We're Looking For

Teachers who are inspired in their approach, and who stretch the boundaries of learning, are typically the most successful. We believe that passion is contagious and so we encourage our teachers to be both creative and innovative. 

We are looking for teachers that stretch beyond textbook teaching and bring together instruction methods that will ultimately help students delve deeper into a subject. 

This position serves as a substitute teacher for multiple subject areas for upper primary through high school classes. This position is a full-time, on-campus position during regular school hours with an anticipated end date of June 18, 2026.

Requirements

• All applicants must have a BA or BS degree from an accredited or approved college or university.
