About The Position

Role Mission: Deliver instruction and manage a positive, safe learning environment when the classroom teacher is absent. What We Offer: $100 per day for non-degreed substitute teachers. $130 per day for Bachelor's degreed substitute teachers. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred OR at least 1 year of experience working with children.
• Must pass a background check.
• Strong English communication skills, belief in college for all, and commitment to being a positive influence on students.
• Work a minimum of 1 assignment per week.
• Be punctual and complete all scheduled assignments.
• Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and patience.
• Communicate effectively and timely.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Engage with students to provide instruction and facilitate learning.
• Monitor student behavior and performance.
• Ensure student safety and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Complete all required professional development.
• Adhere to school policies and maintain student confidentiality.
