About The Position
Sacred Heart Grade School is seeking qualified and reliable Substitute Teachers to provide classroom coverage when teachers are absent. Substitute Teachers play an important role in maintaining continuity of instruction, supporting students, and ensuring a positive learning environment rooted in the Catholic faith tradition.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to different grade levels and subject areas.
- Commitment to the values of Catholic education.
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and classroom management in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Follow lesson plans and maintain daily routines as outlined by the classroom teacher.
- Supervise students and ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with students and staff.
