About The Position

This is an on-call, as-needed position at Guidepost Montessori, ideal for individuals seeking flexible hours while making a positive impact on young children. As a Substitute Teacher, you’ll support multiple mixed-age Montessori classrooms serving children ages 0–6, helping maintain a calm, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. Requirements

• Negative TB test within the last 12 months
• Valid state background check
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor
• Passion for working with young children

Nice To Haves

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) units
• Recent experience working with children ages 0–6

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency
• Assist with daily routines and classroom activities across mixed-age groups
• Help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care
• Model patience, professionalism, and kindness in every interaction
