Job Summary St. James the Greater Catholic Church is seeking qualified Substitute Teachers to provide classroom support and supervision in the absence of the regular classroom teacher while supporting the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience working with students preferred
- Ability to manage classrooms effectively
- Flexibility, professionalism, and reliability
- Commitment to supporting Catholic education
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom instruction according to provided lesson plans
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and structured learning environment
- Supervise students throughout the school day as assigned
- Follow school and parish policies and procedures
- Communicate classroom concerns to school administration as needed
- Uphold the mission and values of Catholic education
