The Substitute Teacher is responsible for providing classroom guidance in social skills and work habits, supervision and enforcing rules, and administering and monitoring educational testing materials. Additional duties included observing, evaluating, and documenting student behavior and academic achievement to provide accurate details to teachers and facility staff. Pine Hills School is located inside the secure facility at Pine Hills Youth Correctional Facility. School is provided to youth offenders 12 months of the year. The position serves as a positive role model to the youth population, encouraging positive behavior and academic achievements.
