About The Position

The Substitute Teacher position is designed for individuals who can step in and provide instruction in the absence of regular teachers. This role is essential for maintaining the continuity of education within the district. Substitute teachers are expected to follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher and manage classroom behavior effectively.

Requirements

• 60 college credits to obtain Substitute Certification OR
• 30 college credits, 20+ years old and currently enrolled in college.
• Criminal History Clearance (assistance will be provided to obtain clearance).
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Follow lesson plans and ensure that students understand the material.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assist students with their learning needs and provide support as necessary.

Benefits
