About The Position

The Bainbridge Island School District is seeking Substitute Teachers who are interested in a flexible work schedule with no weekend hours. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and possess skills in classroom management. Successful applicants who do not currently hold a valid Washington Teaching Certificate will be recommended for a Washington State Emergency Teaching Certificate. The primary responsibility of the Substitute Teacher is to fill in for certificated staff members as needed.

Requirements

• A BA or BS degree.
• A valid Washington State Teaching Certificate or an Emergency Teaching Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Substitute for a certificated staff member's position as need arises.

Benefits

• Full day compensation of $200.00.
• Half day compensation of $100.00.
