About The Position

The Lodi Public School District is seeking certified substitute teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. Requirements

• Substitute Teacher Certificate
• Minimum of 60 college credits or 30 college credits and currently enrolled in a college program
• NJ Teaching Certificate (CE, CEAS, or Standard)

Responsibilities

• Carry out the duties of the classroom teacher as outlined in the lesson plans
• Manage student classroom behavior and enforce school rules and policies in the absence of the classroom teacher
• Create a positive learning environment
• Provide instruction to students by following the teacher's substitute lesson plans
• Build positive relationships with students and faculty
• Motivate students to learn and participate in the daily lessons
• Demonstrate familiarity with school philosophy, program, and policies.

Benefits

• Pay Rate: $153 per day
• Per Diem Position; as needed position
