About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and nurturing Substitute Teacher to join our team, providing support across classrooms for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years whenever regular staff are absent. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to maintaining a safe and engaging environment for young children.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years is required
• Education in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus
• Flexibility to accept assignments on short notice and work varied shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• Strong adaptability and teamwork skills
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Step into infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms as needed
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and caring environment for children
• Follow daily routines and assist with activities, meals, diapering/toileting, and transitions
• Collaborate with classroom teams to ensure continuity of care
• Communicate effectively with children, staff, and families
