About The Position

The Substitute Teacher position is responsible for assisting students in grades K-12 to enhance their skills, knowledge, concepts, and behaviors in both cognitive and affective domains, in alignment with State standards and District guidelines. The role involves regular interaction with students and staff, and requires the ability to perform various physical tasks related to instructional materials and equipment.

Requirements

• Appropriate Arizona substitute and/or teaching credentials (Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, Substitute Certificate).
• Physical and mental health that allows for proper discharge of job functions.
• Personal characteristics that facilitate good rapport with students.
• Willingness to devote sufficient time to preparation.

• Ensure compliance with State standards and District guidelines.

Benefits

• Hourly compensation for Classroom Substitute Teacher at $16.30 per hour.
• Hourly compensation for Long Term Substitute at $18.15 per hour.
