Pathways In Education is a small, non-profit charter school in Nampa dedicated to serving the local community and supporting at-risk and underserved students. PIE is looking for a substitute teacher that is warm, outgoing, authentic, passionate and inspiring. PIE places great emphasis on the student-teacher relationship, a critical component to the development of students’ personal, emotional, and academic well-being. Pathways In Education is looking for a Substitute Teacher / Tutor to work at their Nampa location. The Substitute Teacher / Tutor will have set hours (Mon -- Thurs, 8am -- 4pm, with a 1 hour lunch), 28 hours / week and will have the following responsibilities: Provide support for Pathways teachers and students in our mission to efficiently and effectively educate students and move them towards high school graduation. PIE provides our staff opportunities to chaperone students on experiential learning trips to amazing places like Italy, Cuba and China as well as U.S. based trips to DC, a ranch in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and a farm in Northern California. We regularly hold social functions to foster a genuine camaraderie that enhances teamwork.
