Ledyard Middle School is seeking a Long Term Substitute Special Education teacher for our RISE program beginning in February 2026 and continuing through the end of May (based on the needs of the district). The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for curriculum and lesson planning and delivery, as well as assessing students and writing effective IEPs. Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings, PPTs, and parent meetings is an essential component of this position. The teacher must be skilled in providing on-going training and supervision to paraprofessionals and general educators in order to implement IEPs with fidelity.
