About The Position
The Substitute Teacher at IDEA Public Schools plays a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position is responsible for providing instruction and managing the learning environment, ensuring that students remain engaged and safe. The substitute teacher is expected to actively supervise students, maintain a positive atmosphere, and execute lesson plans as directed by the absent teacher or administration. Substitute teachers at IDEA are not just temporary staff; they are integral members of the IDEA Team & Family.
